Biography
Sherri R. Dienstfrey begins her twenty-fifth year of teaching, her first four at the University of South Alabama and twenty-one at ISU. She earned her BS from the University of Nebraska, her MA from North Dakota State University, and her Ph.D. from Kent State. During her career, Sherri has directed over 80 productions. She continues to adapt and direct Readers' Theatres. Among her favorite productions over her career are: The Tempest, Twighlight of the Golds, Greetings, Snoopy, Steel Magnolias, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Glass Menagerie, The Diary of Anne Frank, Amy’s View and The Boys Next Door. This season, she looks forward to directing Lost in Yonkers and performing in Charlie and the Chocoalte Factory and The Country Wife.
