Ms. Lauralee Zimmerly, Interim Director of Dance
Biography
Lauralee Zimmerly co-directs The Idaho Moving Project (I-Move) along with her colleagues Molly Jorgensen and Rosa Vissers. Zimmerly has been a member of New Dance Company in Stockton from its inception, was a founding member of Contemporary Dance Alliance in Albuquerque, NM and a performer for Sor Maria Production in Sante Fe. In Pocatello, she has participated as a member of Kinetikos Dance Alliance and STB Dance as well as working as an independent choreographer. She received an MA in dance choreography and performance from UCLA and is currently working on her Ph.D. in educational leadership with an emphasis in instructional technology at ISU. She is Interim Director of Dance for the 2007-2008 academic year where she teaches a variety of dance courses including modern dance, pilates, and survey of dance. Zimmerly has been involved with Danson as a guest choreographer and as artistic co-director for the past five years.
