Staff Council
The Staff Council of Idaho State University was established as a collective organization, providing representation of all staff, including classified employees and non-classified employees.
The Staff Council consists of all members of the Classified Employee Council (CEC) and the Council of Professional Employees (COPE). The Staff Council Executive Committee consists of a President, President-Elect and Past-President.
ISU Staff Members,
Your Staff Council Representatives have been working hard during the last few months representing you on a number of campus-wide committees. Your voice is heard through your elected representatives which are listed on our Staff Council Website. Staff Council minutes are archived at this site as well as short hightlights from campus committee activitities. Keep abreast of issues concerning you and ISU. Check the website and/or email us, if you have a concern.

Special Budget Committee
The committee has not finalized the ISU budget holdback plans for 2009-2010. Representatives cannot provide details at this time, but will update the staff when plans are finalized.
Staff representatives provide a voice on the special budget committee.

Award Winner for 2009
Aref started at ISU in 1986 in the Facilities-Maintenance department; from 1991 to 2005 Aref held the position of Student Union Facility Coordinator and in 2005 was named Event Technical Coordinator
President Vailas presented Aref with a check for $1000 and a plaque with his name on it, which will reside in his department for the next year.
