ISU Men's Soccer Coach

Khabir enters his third year as head Men's soccer coach at Idaho State University. Sharock was previously coached at Industrial Leagues in Southern, Northern California, and Arizona prior to starting at ISU.

Sharock played in Iran for the professional Jamm Club, youth program, in the southern part of the country prior to his departure to England. He played as an attacking midfielder for the Peterborough Technical College for two years 1974-1976. He was recruited to play for the Peterborough "POSH" club currently in second divisions, as a recruit. However, he completed "A" level in Pure Math, Applied Math, and Physics within the two-year program at Peterborough, and left England to USA. He continued his education in California at Fresno State where he played as sweeper/defensive midfielder for two years for the Fresno State University from 1977-1979. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Sharock has earned National Federation High School (NFHS), USSF, and NSCAA advance coaching certifications. Additionally, Sharock earned his basic coaching training from the IR Federation of Soccer during his youth in Iran.

For the past three years ISU Men's team has been making drastic improvements. In the Fall of 1999, ISU Men's Soccer Team won the end of season championship tournament against UVSC with score of 2-0. The season ended with the overall record of 13-8-0.

Graduated from Reynolds High School in Troutdale, OR. He was named first-team all-league and all -state as a junior. Tony was a member of three Oregon state select teams and was a two-time All-far West Region selection. Tony Elrod career Statistics was started 11 out of 41 games, scored 5 goal, assisted with 9, total point of 19 with 2 wins. Tony played for F.C. Portland's Men's team since age 15 in a semi-pro League, and played in the indoor National Tournaments in 1985. Tony played 2 years on the All-Navy team and one year for ISU.
