Aircraft Maintenance Program DEVLIEG – Scholarship awarded to students who are full-time in the Aircraft Maintenance Program within the College of Technology. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Aircraft Maintenance Technology Majors Archie T. Roberson - A scholarship awarded annually to full-time students who demonstrate financial need. Preference to male students from Idaho. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
All College of Tech Majors Chris "Kit" Ore Memorial - Recipients must attend full-time (12 credits) in any College of Technology field eligible after completing one semester. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
All College of Tech Majors College of Technology Recognition – Scholarship designed to enhance recruiting efforts within the ISU College of Technology. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
All College of Tech Majors Mary Olah Rucker – Designed to provide annual scholarship funds to a student in the College of Technology. Recipients must be enrolled full-time (12 credits). Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
All College of Tech Majors Richard N. Watson Memorial – Recipients must be enrolled full-time (12 credits) in the College of Technology. Preference will be given to low-income students or those who have financial need. Preference will also be given to those who have accessed services in the General Education Department, such as the Center for New Directions and/or Adult Basic Education or support programs similar in purpose. Any Major; Freshman or Sophomore Center for New Directions/College of Technology New Student Backpack – Recipients must be enrolled in a College of Technology major, with at least 12 credits for Fall Semester. Financial need is required. Preference given to Freshmen and Sophomore students. Opens for application in July. Check the “Open Scholarship” webpage.
Any Major; Summer Session; Single Parent Center for New Directions/College of Technology Single Parent Student Summer – Recipients must be enrolled in a College of Technology major, with at least 12 College of Technology credits for Fall Semester. Financial need is required. Awarded to a Single Parent Student. Two letters of recommendation or references are required; reference forms attached to application. Opens for application in February. Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing Majors Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing – An annual scholarship awarded to a student who is in their second year of the Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing program. Recipient must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and must be of full-time status. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Automotive Tech Majors Automotive Technology Annual – Recipients shall be enrolled in the Automotive Technology Program in the College of Technology. Students must be in their freshman year and must have completed 2-3 years of high school automotive technology courses. Students must have maintained a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to those who demonstrate financial need. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Business Information Majors Jeppesen Office Technology - Two scholarships awarded each fall to full-time students with minimum 3.00 cumulative gpas. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Business Information Majors Mary J. Michael Memorial - Scholarship awarded to a full-time Business Information major enrolled in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th semester with a minimum 3.50 cumulative gpa. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Business Information Majors Jim & Jeri Spinner Office Technology - Scholarship awarded to a full-time student with a minimum 3.00 cumulative gpa. Consideration will only be given to applicants who are not receiving any other scholarship, grants, or financial aid. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Computer Software Engineering Majors Martin Naylor Memorial - An annual award given to Idaho residents who are currently enrolled in the first year and will be in the 2nd year of the Computer Software Engineering Technology program during the award period. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Computer Tech or Electronics Programs: All College of Tech Majors Johnson/Wilding Magic Valley Scholarship – Recipients shall be MALE students with preference given to those enrolled in computer technology or electronics programs within the College of Technology. Must be an Idaho resident and a U.S. Citizen—first Preference to Twin Falls High School graduates; second preference given to students from neighboring counties or high schools. Preference given to traditional students enrolled following high school graduation. Recipients must demonstrate a high level of financial need. Cosmetology Majors Kendra Harris Cosmetology Memorial – Recipients should maintain a GPA of 3.00 or higher, be enrolled in the Cosmetology program, and provide a written statement of career goals. Preference shall be given to students who are from American Falls. If no students are available from American Falls, then it will be opened to any Cosmetology student. Cosmetology Majors Robert & Irene Kimber Cosmetology - A scholarship awarded annually to a Cosmetology major who demonstrates financial need and has a minimum 2.0 gpa. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Diesel Tech Majors Diesel Technology – Awarded to students qualified for admission into or already enrolled in the Diesel Technology Program within the College of Technology. Students must demonstrate financial need. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Electrical Instrumentation Tech Major Dale Carter Memorial - Awarded twice a year to students currently enrolled in the third semester of Electrical/Instrumentation Tech Program who demonstrate need. Minimum 2.80 cumulative gpa. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Electro-Mechanical Drafting Program Douglas R. Pitman – A scholarship will be awarded to full-time students who demonstrate financial need and a determination to enter and succeed in the drafting industry. A preference will be given to students who exhibit a demonstration of effort or talent in the classroom, as well as, a demonstration of academic excellence. Electronics Majors, Female Women In Wireless Communications - Scholarship for female students enrolled in the Electronic Programs with preference to those in the Electronic Wireless Telecom Program. Selection based on GPA, involvement in co-curricular activities, future goals in the field of wireless communication (address in statement), and financial need. Dennis Vittetoe Electronics – Scholarship designed to provide scholarships for third semester Electronic Systems Technology students. Students should apply for this scholarship during their second semester of EST. Recipients must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be enrolled full-time, and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must submit a statement addressing education and career goals. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
GED Department College of Technology General Education – This endowment is designed to provide a scholarship to the student scoring the highest on the GED administered each spring. The student has to be accepted into ISU according to current policies and procedures defined by the Admissions Office at ISU. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Geomatics Majors Maher and Louse Wissa – Recipients must be of Junior level or above in the Geomatics program within the College of Technology. Students must have a 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to non-traditional students. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Graphic Arts Ashlee Shaver Memorial - Scholarship awarded to students enrolled in their first year of the Graphic Arts program. Must be a graduate of Century, Highland, or Pocatello High School and have demonstrated financial need. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
HRTD Majors John Bobell, Jr. Memorial - Award annually to a Human Resource Training and Development major. Awarded to either full-time or part-time baccalaureate or masters degree students. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Instrumentation Program Darrin Wells Memorial - Scholarship for students currently enrolled in the Instrumentation Program. Minimum 2.0 cumulative gpa required. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Jump Start Competitors Robert Jenkins Automotive Jump Start – Recipients must meet all College of Technology entrance requirements to be considered. Students must have also placed first, second, or third in the Jump Start Competition held each spring. Must intend to register for and attend the Automotive Technology Program in the upcoming summer session. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Law Enforcement Majors James J. Camara Memorial - Awarded to a Law Enforcement student who demonstrates financial need & academic potential with a minimum gpa of 2.50. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Law Enforcement Majors Ralph Marsh Law Enforcement - Awarded to a Law Enforcement major with a minimum 2.0 gpa. Preference given to non-traditional students from Minidoka or Cassia Counties. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Law Enforcement Majors Frank McKinnon Law Enforcement - Awarded to a student enrolled full-time (12 crs or more) in the Law Enforcement program with a minimum 2.0 gpa. Award based on merit and financial need. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Law Enforcement Majors Paul Todd Law Enforcement - Awarded annually to Law Enforcement majors in their second session who have obtained a minimum 2.80 gpa and have demonstrated need. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Law Enforcement Majors Pete Rountree - Scholarship awarded annually to students in their 2nd session of the ISU Law Enforcement program. Minimum 2.50 cumulative gpa required. Applicants must be a non-smokers. Consideration given to written statement, scholastic performance, & financial need. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Law Enforcement Majors Jerry L. Rowland Memorial – Scholarship awarded to students who are entering at least the second semester of the Law Enforcement Program. Recipients must have and maintain a minimum 2.50 GPA. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Machining Majors Mike Gilmore Memorial - One or more scholarships awarded annually to students majoring in the Machining Technology Program. Recipients must be residents of Idaho with greater than a 2.0 GPA, preference will be given to females with financial need & academic achievement considered. Marketing and Management Majors Ewer Marketing - Scholarships available annually to Marketing & Management or Hospitality majors. Financial need is considered, & preference is given to students who are single head-of-household. Must be U.S. citizens with a 2.0 minimum gpa. Practical Nursing Majors Elsie Marsh LPN - Awarded to a Practical Nursing major. Preference given to students from Minidoka or Cassia Counties with children at home under the age of 18. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Practical Nursing Majors Mary Louise Todd Memorial - Scholarship awarded to a student enrolled in the Licensed Practical Nursing program. Preference to Idaho residents with a minimum 3.00 cumulative gpa. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Single Parents R. J. Moss Memorial - One or more scholarships awarded to independent students who have completed at least one semester of a technology program. Preference given to single parents enrolled in "non-traditional programs" or re-entry students returning after a 5 year (or longer) absence from school. Consideration given to financial need & academic ability. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Vocational or Technical Education Harry and Dorothy Bettencourt Memorial – Recipients of this scholarship must attend full-time (12 credits) and maintain a minimum 2.50 GPA. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Voc. Tech. Ed/ Corp Training/HRT&D Carl Durfee Memorial - Awarded annually to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Human Resource Training and Development. Award is based upon financial need addressed in statement. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Welding Majors Welding Endowment - One scholarship awarded annually to a student enrolled in the Welding program with a minimum 3.00 gpa. (No letter of recommendation required.) Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
Welding Program Monsanto Welding – Recipients must be a female/minority student and be currently enrolled in the Welding Program with a 2.5 GPA or higher. If no qualified female applicants, the scholarship may be awarded to a qualified male minority student. Apply using the Combined College of Technology Application.
