Multiple Majors

Health Professions Majors ALBERTSON'S FOUNDATION, COLLEGE OF HEALTH PROFESSIONS - Variable amounts awarded to students majoring in the College of Health Professions with at least a 2.5 GPA, financial need & academic promise. The intention is to help students whose ultimate goal is to serve children in school (address in statement). Apply using the Combined Health Professions Scholarship application. Opens for application in February.
Health Profession Majors ALBERT M. JOHNSON - Awarded to students in the college of Health Professions. Apply using the Combined Health Professions Scholarship application. Opens for application in February.
Health Profession Majors IHC/PRMC - Annual award made to a Health Profession major who demonstrates motivation, academic achievement, & leadership potential. Preference given to applicants who express, in writing, an intent to work at one of the IHC facilities following graduation. Must be U.S. citizen. Minimum 2.50 cumulative gpa required. Apply using the Combined Health Professions Scholarship application. Opens for application in February.
Health Profession Majors, Native American INDIAN HEALTH SERVICES - Various scholarships awarded to Native American or Alaska Native students majoring in the health professions. Health Profession Majors PMC HEALTH CARE FOUNDATION - Scholarship for students in the health care related professions. Apply using the Combined Health Professions Scholarship application. Opens for application in February.
Health Profession Majors RURAL EDUCATION ACCESS - Scholarship for students wishing to enroll in the Idaho Rural Scholarship Program at the Institute of Rural Health. Apply using the Combined Health Professions Scholarship application. Opens for application in February.
Health Profession Majors JUNE TRAUERNICHT MEMORIAL - Scholarship awarded to Sophomore students majoring in Health related fields with a minimum 2.50 cumulative gpa. Preference will be given to students who are physically handicapped with financial need. Opens for application in February.

Audiology Majors GEORGE F. AND BETTY T. BROCKETT - Scholarships awarded to full-time upper division undergraduate Audiology majors, with secondary preference given to Graduate students. Special consideration shall be given to students with financial need who show extra promise of contributing to Audiology. Minimum 2.5 cumulative gpa required. Recipients must be U. Dental Hygiene Majors DAVID F. MCCUNE MEMORIAL - Preference to Juniors or Seniors who are accepted into the Dental Hygiene program who have dental assisting experience and financial need. Opens for application in March.

Dietetics Majors JEANNETTE ROWE MEMORIAL - Awarded to Juniors majoring in Dietetics with a minimum 2.00 cumulative gpa who are members of Phi Upsilon Omicron (Phi U). Opens for application in March.
Nursing Majors, Minority BELMA TRUCHOT COLTER - Annual award made to a Junior or Senior Nursing major with a minimum 2.50 cumulative gpa. Preference to minority students with first preference to Shoshone-Bannock students, preferably from Fort Hall. Consideration will be given to financial need, motivation, leadership, & academic potential. Contact major department for more information.
Nursing Majors VIVIAN & WAYNE CROZIER MEMORIAL - Annual award made to an ISU nursing student who demonstrates an active interest in politics. Must be an Idaho Resident. Contact major department for more information.
Nursing Majors EASTERN IDAHO REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER VOLUNTEER AUXILIARY NURSING - Annual award made to an undergraduate Nursing student. Preference is given to graduates of Bonneville, Hillcrest, Idaho Falls, or Skyline High Schools. Must be U.S. citizen & an Idaho resident. Contact major department for more information.
Nursing Majors EDUCATION INCENTIVE LOAN FORGIVENESS PROGRAM - Eligible students are those who (1) have graduated from a secondary school in Idaho within the previous two years, (2) are within the upper 15% of the graduating class or have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average, (3) have been formally admitted into the professional Nursing program & (4) are pursuing a program of study qualifying the student to write the licenser examination approved by the Board of Nursing. Nursing students must pursue a licensed professional Nursing career in the State of Idaho for two years, & must commence that career within one year after professional Nursing license is obtained. Physician's Assistant, School Counseling, or Nursing Majors CRYSTAL AND CLARK ALLEN FAMILY - Annual award given to a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student with a minimum 2.75 cumulative gpa who plans to practice in Southeast Idaho (Bannock, Bear Lake, Bingham, Bonneville, Caribou, Franklin, Power, Madison, or Oneida counties) upon graduation. Preference to Idaho residents. Must submit an essay (100 words or less) stating how their future plans will impact the people of Southeastern Idaho. PMC employees PORTNEUF MEDICAL CENTER - Awarded annually to employees, with a minimum 3.00 cumulative gpa. Applications and awarding are done through the hospital.
