| Mike
Ditto - Portfolio
Manager
|
 |
After completing a 22-year career
in the U.S. Coast Guard, Mike attended Old Dominion
University where he attained a master’s
degree in secondary education. He then taught
high school social studies for three years in
Norfolk, Virginia, and in 1995 moved with his
family to rural Idaho. Continuing his involvement
with education in the Marsh Valley school district,
Mike was also busy as a Varsity Scout leader,
community volunteer, and outdoors man. Later,
with their two sons grown and out of the nest,
Mike and his wife Cookie moved to Pocatello in
2001 for a more “urban” lifestyle.
A change in setting presented an opportunity for
another change in profession and Mike soon found
himself as the administrative assistant for the
Idaho SBDC in Pocatello. His organizational, administrative,
and communication skills also are put to use for
the Eastern Idaho Development Corporation, a lending
institution co-situated with the Idaho SBDC. |
