The Psychology Department at Idaho State University invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track position for a Social Psychologist at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2008.  The position requires a Ph.D. in psychology with an emphasis in social psychology.  Candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including social psychology, statistics, quantitative methods, and topical seminars.  Applicants should have teaching experience, evidence of programmatic research, and the ability to develop a productive, fundable research program involving students.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications; competitive benefits package.
