If a student cannot pass the proficiency exam, he or she must take Class Piano (118-119 or 218-219) courses at the appropriate level until MUSC 219 is passed with a grade of "C-" or better. Students must register concurrently for Class Piano with MUSC 103-104 and 203-204.

**Large Ensembles. Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion majors must choose Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble or Concert Band as their large ensemble each semester. String majors must choose the Idaho State Civic Symphony. Organ and Guitar majors may choose any of the aforementioned ensembles, Concert Choir or Women's Choir as their large ensemble.

***Music Electives. Music electives must be chosen from Music Courses, not from Applied Music or Music Ensembles (Performing Organizations).
