Hospital Emergency Response Exercises
New York Consortium For Emergency Preparedness Continuing Education - Columbia University
The intent of this product is to provide a cost effective simulation for hospital administrators to use to test the basic preparedness of their clinical staff. We focused on the systems rather than the symptoms of the emergency response.By obtaining a passing score, the clinician will have demonstrated thier competency to respond appropriately during an activation of their hospital's response plan. Clinicians should be able to complete this simulation in one hour and will receive one hour of category 1 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award or one hour of Nursing credit.
