Advising/Admission
Admissions advisors have information about the university, program requirements, course prerequisites and equivalencies, policies and procedures, and financial aid. To schedule an appointment call (208) 282-7800. Students taking regular graduate courses must complete application and residency forms and pay a $55 fee. Non-degree seeking graduate students must submit official transcripts from all other colleges or universities attended and qualifying scores earned on Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or other substitutable exam.
Registration & Records
The registration policies for University Place are the same as for ISU's Pocatello campus. The complete list of registration procedures can be obtained at the Student Services Office at University Place. Students may sample college courses by registering as non-degree-seeking for seven or fewer credits.

Counseling, Testing & Career Service

The staff of the University Counseling and Testing Service are available to assist students who are encountering personal, social and emotional difficulties while enrolled at Idaho State University. During an initial assessment process, students and their counselor discuss the student's needs and concerns and decide upon an appropriate plan which might include individual, couples and/or group therapy. Trio/Educational Talent Search
Educational Talent Search (ETS), one of the original TRiO programs, is an outreach program that provides tutoring, college and career planning, academic assistance, and self esteem exercises to qualifying junior high and high school students.
Post-secondary admissions and federal financial aid information is provided to qualifying high school students and also to non-traditional students seeking to enter a post-secondary institution.
