Description
Newly developed course designed to provide a basic understanding of WMD, the threat of terrorism, and the appropriate response. Course recognizes key on-scene indicators of a suspicious event as well as appropriate self-protective measures. The course also covers security issues unique to terrorist events, appropriate notifications and the command and control structure associated with crime scene activities.

Course Length
Self-paced and should take approximately 8 hours to complete.

None
Target Audience
First Responders from all disciplines and services, i.e., personnel from fire service, emergency management, emergency medical services, law enforcement, HazMat, public works, disaster response, emergency communications, public health, armed forces/national guard, elected/appointed officials, transportation, public safety communication, health care, and governmental administrative.
Benefits
Once the post-test is submitted and successfully passed, student will receive a certificate of completion.
