My name is Laura Harrawood. I joined the faculty in the Counseling Department at Idaho State University in the fall of 2007. I have previously held adjunct positions with Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Southeastern Missouri State, and McKendree University. My clinical experience includes positions at university mental health and community agencies. I also maintained an active private practice from 2001 to 2007. My academic interests include individual supervision, supervision in couples and family counseling; group theory and practice; innovative teaching methods, counselor identity development, and issues related to grief and loss. My favorite pass times include playing tennis, reading, watching movies with my daughter Amanda, long rides in the convertible with my husband, and hanging out with our dogs Annie, Porter, and Tassie.
