Chemical Dependency and Family -  Spring 2008   Tuesday 7:00 to 9:30 PM
Provides an overview of functional and dysfunctional families, the impact of chemical dependency on individual and family systems; and treatment modalities and appropriate referral resources.

Assessment of Substance Abuse -  Spring 2008   Monday 6:00 to 8:30 PM
Provides a basic understanding of appraisal techniques within an addictions framework. Promotes competency and ethical responsibility in assessing clients. Enhances the ability to assess client's needs based on clinical knowledge and instrumentation.

Summer 2008

Blood Bourne Illness -  Summer Semester   July 16-17, 2008, 9:00AM - 5:00PM
Provides a basic understanding of blood borne pathogens/infectious diseases within an addictions framework. Promotes competency and ethical responsibility in assessing client needs in regard to blood borne pathogens/infectious diseases.
