Predental Hygiene Advisor
Students should be advised by a dental hygiene faculty member at the earliest point in their academic career to aid in completion of all core and general education courses by July 15 of the year of application. Transfer students should be advised by ISU dental hygiene faculty to ensure that courses will transfer to ISU as fulfilling core and general education courses. In the event that a petition is necessary, the applicant has two weeks after notification by the department to complete the petition, otherwise the course in question will be counted as a deficiency. Advising can be accomplished by telephone or in person. Call 282-3796 to make an advising appointment. Other topics also discussed during the advising appointment include immunizations and testing related to infectious diseases, students as partners, expenses and scholarships.
