Anita Herzog is a professor and past Chair of the Department of Dental Hygiene at Idaho State University where she joined the faculty in 1972. As coordinator of the oral radiology curriculum, she teaches dental hygiene students and serves as a member and dental consultant to the University Radiation Safety Committee. She has attended several post-graduate institutes for dental radiology educators and consults regularly with area dental offices. Anita also teaches local anesthesia, tooth morphology, and expanded functions. Her professional presentations and research activities are related to each of her teaching interests. Professor Herzog has presented at state, regional, national, and international professional meetings; published manuscripts in refereed journals; contributed chapters to dental hygiene texts; and served as a textbook reviewer for the dental publishing industry. She is also a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association, Idaho Dental Hygienists' Association, Portneuf Valley Dental Hygiene Society, and the American Dental Education Association.
