Early Childhood Conference
The Eastern Idaho AEYC Early Childhood Conference will be held at Idaho State University Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, 2009.
Friday's daytime sessions will be held at the College of Education, rooms 355 and 356. Friday's evening sessions will feature the Tears of Joy puppet theater performance "Little One Inch." This Friday evening entertainment is partially sponsored by a grant from Idaho State University's Cultural Affairs Council. For more information about Tears of Joy, go to www.tojt.org. Saturday's sessions will be held at the Pond Student Union Building. "Nature Explore" will present Saturday morning's keynote presentation ("Making Nature an Integral Part of Children's Daily Lives") as well as two workshops, "We Dig Dirt" and "Learning with Nature." Registration is now open. The registration deadline is February 27, 2009. You may register after February 27 for an additional fee. To register, please print out the Registration Form, complete it, and mail or fax it back to the address or fax number indicated along with your payment. Academic credit as well as CEUs (Continuing Education Units) will be available for the conference. Registration and payment for academic credit and CEUs is separate from conference registration and must be done on site the day of the event.
