1 Physics: Magneto Science Activities Explore a room full of interactive demos on electricity & magnetism. Learn what speakers, microphones, motors, and generators have in common, and how lots of electric gizmos work. Nursing: It's More Than a Cute Hat Nursing takes guts, skill, and lots of knowledge. Use math to determine how much medication a patient needs, and even give a shot (to an orange)!
2 Aircraft Maintenance Technology Build an airplane to see how weight and balance affect flight. Fly a helicopter. (Toys, of course.) Instructional Technology Resource Center What would you do if you lost your phone? Would it be a disaster or could you still reasonably function? Learn how to backup your device and be better prepared.
3 Business Technology – Small Business Management Interested in becoming an Entrepreneur? See what technical business skills you will need to make your OWN business a SUCCESS! Civil Engineering Technology Come learn about drones and even fly one!! Also learn how making concrete is like making cookies.
4 Biology - Botany Come and tour ISU's Biological Sciences’ greenhouse’s’ living lab materials collection. Learn some basic plant propagation techniques, and take home a plant. Respiratory Therapy This fun hands-on activity will utilize some of the equipment which administers respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies or abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
5 CADD – Computer Aided Design Drafting Technology Come explore a 3D Building Information Modeling program used in Computer Aided Design Drafting. You get to create a small cabin in 3D. Diesel Technology: Fly by Wire Electricity is running our engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions and brakes. Each student will have the opportunity to plug and play with electrical circuits.
6 Medical Assisting Medical Assisting is a versatile, fast growing field in healthcare. Activities will include learning to do vitals and reconstitute medications with needles and syringes. Dam Engineering Students will learn how the force of water helps determine the size and shape of dams. They will use clay to build models of dams and observe the force of the water against it.
7 Diesel Technology: Fly by Wire Electricity is running our engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions and brakes. Each student will have the opportunity to plug and play with electrical circuits. Biology - Zoology Explore the neuroanatomy of the brain by dissecting or observing a sheep brain in sections. Relate this knowledge to the human brain.
8 Robotics Technology Learn how to control robot movements with motors and sensors, and build a simple drive circuit. Health Occupations Technology Blood typing is an essential part of healthcare and saving lives. Learn how the testing and donation of blood works.
9 Information Technology Learn how to disassemble, reassemble, and test a computer. Auto Collision Technology Participate in activities from spraying water with paint guns to practicing airbrushing and fixing bodywork dents.
10 ESTEC – Energy Systems Technology & Education Center Discover exciting careers in energy systems that have great incomes and challenging hands-on work. Use nails, magnets, and other ordinary items, to learn how energy is produced and delivered. Law Enforcement Meet several female students learning to become police officers. The class will also discuss gun safety and shooting skills.

18 PTA, OTA, Massage Therapy (2 hours in one activity) Participate in hands-on activities showcasing skills acquired in the Massage Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Physical Therapist Assistant career paths.
19 Computerized Machining Technology (2 hours in one activity) Attendees will design, draw, and program a keychain/nameplate using a CAD/CAM system and cut it out on a CNC mill.
