Our Focus
We have built an excellent reputation for mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. Our research is in core areas of anatomy and physiology, ecology and evolution, microbiology and biochemistry, and science education. Our students and faculty conduct research at sites throughout the Intermountain West, in Latin America, Canada, Alaska, and Asia.
About Us
Our department is among the largest on the ISU campus, with 37 full-time faculty members, approximately 47 adjunct and research faculty, nearly 800 undergraduates and over 100 master and doctoral students.
