Symphonic Band
Under the direction of Monte C. Grisé
The Symphonic Band is a 60 to 65 member ensemble that meets fall semester
only. As with all university bands, it is open to all students from
throughout the university regardless of major. The Symphonic Band
performs 3-4 times in the fall and is host to the ISU Senior High Honor
Band in December. Symphonic Band members wanting to play in spring
semester can audition for the Wind Ensemble or choose to play in the
Concert Band.
