Program OptionsCertificate:Automotive Technician -- 3 semesters Completion of this certificate program entitles the student to pursue additional course work to receive the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. The AAS degree articulates into ISU's Bachelor of Applied Technology Degree. What do they doTechnicians use their minds and hands to perform major repairs and preventive maintenance. Computer trained technicians work with specialized digital computer test equipment on all component parts such as engine overhaul, brake repair, front-end alignment, tune-up, and automatic transmission repair.
