Independent Study in Idaho (ISI) is a consortium of four Idaho colleges and universities offering undergraduate, graduate, and high school courses through distance learning. Administration of the consortium is handled by the ISI office housed at the University of Idaho.
Independent Study in Idaho is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and of Colleges and Universities, the same body which accredits Boise State University (BSU), Idaho State University (ISU), Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC), and the University of Idaho (UI).
Independent Study in Idaho provides educational opportunities for students who wish to begin college programs early, take courses with conflicting times, meet prerequisites, or pursue professional development and personal enrichment.
