Just the Basics

March 27, 1980 was the birth of a new organization at Idaho State University whose mission was to provide dedicated service that enhances the University's image. The ISU Ambassadors started with only 20 members. These members of this organization sponsored programs that provided betterment of the University and served as liaisons to the academic community and the state of Idaho for Idaho State University.

This small group of students has doubled in size in the last 25 years. Now nearly 40 members strong, the ISU Ambassadors roar with enthusiasm as they perform acts of service around campus and throughout the Pocatello community. The forefathers and mothers of the ISU Ambassadors would be proud of what has become of this organization they started years ago.

The Ambassadors are the most active organization on campus sitting on student panels, doing activities in the community, and giving many tours of ISU's campus. With the combination of all of this, the ISU Ambassadors are a unique asset to ISU, leading the way with excellence in leadership and in the promotion of ISU and its surrounding community.
