Welcome to The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations at ISU
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations is responsible for managing the University's relationships with all corporations and private foundations. Our goal is to help you seek and secure gifts for your special projects that require outside funding. We do this by assuring positive communications with corporate and foundation staff, submitting well thought-out proposals, and executing careful stewardship of all gifts received. 
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations is headed by Sally Long, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, and is housed on the second floor of the Hoff Building in downtown Boise at the corner of 8th and Bannock Streets.
Corporate and Foundation Relations works closely with all of the departments on campus to help identify priority projects, and provides various corporate and foundation-related services to the University, ranging from identifying funding opportunities, assisting with project and proposal development, providing proposal writing help, and facilitating the submission of proposals.
We continuously seek to boost Corporate and foundation funding to this campus by offering services that ensure that the University sends out the best possible proposals for funding. We also seek to operate as a campus clearinghouse for Deans, faculty, staff, and development officers, so that our contacts with corporations and foundations are strategic and coordinated. How can Corporate and Foundation Relations work for you at ISU?
Our goal is to make the funding process a little easier, more accessible, and resulting in the receipt of gifts! Our focus is on facilitation, coordination, and training. We want to help educate you in the gift seeking process so that you will become your own expert.
Therefore, for everyone on campus, Corporate and Foundation Relations can work for you by:
- assisting you in determining if your project is suited for corporate or foundation funding;
- providing web information with links to foundation sites, tip sheets, and philanthropic resource lists;
- sharing information about foundations that we have researched and/or visited;
- letting you know about Requests for Proposals and other timely opportunities;
- arranging interviews with "key" decision-makers for you to "pitch" your idea or project
- providing telephone consultation on particular funders or proposal writing strategies;
- reviewing, commenting on, and editing proposals;
- and facilitating the submission of a proposal
- We place most of our focus on those projects that are either supportive of campus-wide priorities or are designated by the President or Deans as priorities.
