Portneuf   River

Portneuf River

The Portneuf River is located in southeast Idaho, and follows a path of about 156 km from the east side of Yandell Mountain, flowing south on the east side of the Portneuf Range, and north between the Portneuf and Bannock Ranges, and on to the eastern Snake River plain where it enters the Snake River.

The Portneuf River has been the focus of intensive water quality monitoring since 2003. Additional information about the Portneuf River, and the Portneuf River watershed, is available here.

Water Quality Data: Data from the continuous monitoring network are available here. These flat ASCII files contain data from the sonde network in the Portneuf River. Please read the accompanying metadata files for information about the variables and data use policy.
