MSDH Student Receives National American Dental Education Association Awards
Ann Wetmore is the recipient of two national American Dental Education Association awards and the Texas Dental Hygiene Educator's Association scholarship!!
She has been selected for the following:
ADEA/Crest Oral-B Laboratories Scholarship for Dental Hygiene
Students Pursuing Academic Careers
A $2,000 scholarship for dental hygiene students pursuing academic careers is awarded annually to two students.
ADEA/GlaxoSmithKline Dental Hygiene Fellowship
A stipend of $11,000 plus travel-related expenses of approximately $2,000 will be awarded to up to three dental hygiene educators for a one-year fellowship. The program provides opportunities for dental hygiene educators to enhance their teaching skills and develop or refine presentation methods.
She will receive her awards at the ADEA Annual Session in Dallas, TX on Tuesday, April 1st. We are very excited and proud of her accomplishment

Participants from throughout the United States who are enrolled in Idaho State University’s online dental-hygiene master’s program have had a chance to meet in person this week at ISU’s Pocatello campus during a week-long clinical educational course.
