Service-Learning
The purpose of service-learning is to draw lessons from the experience of performing service work in order to give students real-world learning experiences that enhance their academic learning while providing a tangible benefit for the community.
Academic service-learning is not the addition of service to learning, but rather the integration of service with learning.
