Dealing with Math Anxiety
This workshop will present causes of Math anxiery and different learning strategies that need to be applied to be successful in a mathematics course.
Calculator Basic Functions
This workshop will cover the use of basic functions on the calculator.
Graphing Calculator
This workshop is intended to familiarize the students with the graphing mode of their calculator. It includes instruction on using the zoom, trace, window, calculate, and table keys.
Help! I'm Freaking Over Fractions
This is a hands-on workshop designed to increase the students' understanding (and decrease the mystery) of fractions and operations with fractions.
Improving on Math Tests
This workshop will discuss preparing daily for the math exam, preparing the week before the exam, and techniques to apply while taking the mathematics exam.
