Adult Basic Education Mission Statement
To enable adults over the age of 16, not currently enrolled in school, and functioning at or below the 12th-grade level gain the basic literacy skills necessary to function in family and society; to continue their education to at least the level of a high school diploma; to secure needed training and education to become more employable, productive, and responsible citizens; and to learn to speak, understand, read, and write English as a second language.
