The following is required for completion of the Nail Technology Certificate:
A minimum of 11 credits is required for a postsecondary technical certificate in Nail Technology, designed to prepare students for the State Board Examination for Nail Technology Certification. Required course: COSM 150 – held Summer Session only. Hours accrued in the Nail Technology option are transferrable to the Cosmetology certificate.
Classroom hours for Nail Technology are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
FEDERAL FINANCIAL AID IS NOT AVAILABLE TO A STUDENT TAKING NAIL TECHNOLOGY ONLY
Students may be required to complete pre-requisite courses for English and Math. Transfer courses may be considered to meet course requirements.
