Emergency Situations
- After-hours emergencies
When students or staff of ISU have an urgent mental health concern for themselves or another person, they can contact our office at 282-2130. Our staff are available for emergencies and consultations from 8:00am to 5:00pm M-F during the regular school year. During the summer, we are open from 7:30am to 4:00pm M-F. After normal working hours, emergency response is initiated by contacting Campus Security at 282-2515 or 911. Counseling staff also coordinate and assist with follow-up to such emergencies and can conduct critical incident stress debriefings. Call us if you need more information about ways we can help.
