Equitable Treatment of Clients
The ISU Speech Language and Hearing Clinic (ISU-SLHC) supports equitable treatment of clients. No individual shall be discriminated against based upon race or ethnicity, religion, age, gender, disability, or sexual orientation. The ISU-SLHC supports the use of multiple measures in assessment, including standardized and non-standardized tests as well as student/faculty developed procedures. Treatment is planned with family, caregiver, and client preferences in mind following an evidence based practice approach.
