Idaho Museum of Natural History Camps
The IMNH Education Resources Office offers classes for children of all ages, from preschool to high school to homeschool. Museum classes spark new ideas and questions as they support concepts which children learn in their school science curriculums. All classes are held at the Idaho Museum of Natural History, on the Idaho State University. For more information, visit the museum website or call Rebecca A. Thorne-Ferrel, Education Resources Manager, at (208) 282-2195.
Robotics Camp
The Haywire Robotics Team (Team 1569) is holding two Robotics Summer Camps this year:
1st Camp: July 20-24, 2009
2nd Camp: July 27-31, 2009
These week-long day camps offer kids from 11 to 17 years of age an opportunity to design, build, and program Vex robots, as well as apply for possible membership on the actual Haywire Team. You may remember that Team "Haywire" was undefeated at the Seattle Regional Competition this year and got the chance to compete at the International Grand Championship in Atlanta, Georgia!
The camps will be held at ISU's College of Technology and applications may be picked up at several places on campus (College of Technology, College of Engineering, Physical Science Complex, Life Sciences Complex), as well as the Marshall Public Library, and ACE Hardware.
