CEU Information
What are CEUs?
Continuing Education Units (CEU) are the way of recording contact hours (for relicensing, promotions, maintaining professional memberships and registrations etc.). This is a nationally recognized standard which verifies quality content and instruction. Each hour in an approved class is recorded as 1/10 CEU. CEUs do not accumulate for college credit.
Getting an event approved for CEUs
The Division of Continuing Education approves all ISU-issued CEUs. For a course, workshop, or in-service to be considered for CEU recording, an application form must be completed and returned to our office.
Cost
There is currently no application fee for an organization to have their event reviewed for CEUs. However, there is a $20.00 CEU recording fee per person for each session or course. Make checks payable to ISU Continuing Education and mail them to Campus Box 8062, Pocatello, ID 83209-8062.
