Typical MBA Week

The MBA program at Idaho State University is demanding and requires students to manage a rigorous schedule. Most MBA students juggle school, work, and family activities.

To accommodate the schedules of those students that work full or part-time jobs, MBA classes are held in the evenings Monday through Thursday from approximately 6:00 pm to 8:45 pm.

Although each student’s schedule will vary, below are sample schedules for full-time and part-time students:

Full Time MBA Student

Monday:
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Work 3-6 Hours, Use additional hours to study & prepare for class
6:00-8:45 p.m. MBA Course
9:00-10:00 p.m. Study or meet with group
Tuesday:
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Work 3-6 Hours, Use additional hours to study & prepare for class
6:00-8:45 p.m. MBA Course
9:00-10:00 p.m. Study or meet with group
Wednesday:
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Work 3-6 Hours, Use additional hours to study & prepare for class
6:00-8:45 p.m. MBA Course
9:00-10:00 p.m. Study or meet with group
Thursday:
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Work 3-6 Hours, Use additional hours to study & prepare for class
6:00-8:45 p.m. MBA Course
9:00-10:00 p.m. Study or meet with group
Friday:
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Work and/or Study (depending on schedule Monday-Thursday)
Saturday:
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Work and/or Study (depending on schedule Monday-Thursday)
Sunday:
A few hours each Sunday are dedicated to studying in order to preparing for classes in the upcoming week. The hours may vary weekly.

Part Time MBA Student

Monday:
8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Work
6:00-8:45 p.m. MBA Course
Tuesday:
8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Work
6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Dinner and Family time
8:00-10:00 p.m. Study or meet with group
Wednesday:
8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Work
6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Dinner and Family time
8:00-10:00 p.m. Study or meet with group
Thursday:
8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Work
6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Dinner and Family time
8:00-10:00 p.m. Work
Friday:
8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Work
Saturday:
Normally open, though I may spend time preparing for exams, working on group projects, or case write-ups.
Sunday:
A few hours each Sunday are dedicated to studying in order to preparing for classes in the upcoming week. The hours may vary weekly.
