The MBA and MAcc programs have a number of graduate assistantships available. The stipend for the assistantship is approximately $9,400 per year, both in-state or out-of-state tuition, and medical benefits. Although assistantships are awarded only for fall and spring terms, in many cases tuition for summer school will also be included. College of Business graduate assistants undertake a variety of duties in the college and university. These duties may include:
- Consulting with regional businesses
- Researching for faculty and businesses
- Teaching undergraduate courses and labs
- Assisting with the MBA program
Assistantships represents a commitment of 20 hours per week and individuals are expected to not hold other employment. Graduate Assistant positions are available only to full time students. In order to be considered for a GA position, you must be accepted into the MBA or MAcc program.
The College awards assistantships for the fall and spring semesters. The application deadline for fall awards is June 1; for spring awards, November 15.
