Basic Computer Class: Introduction to the Information Age
- Session 1C: January 29, February 5, 12, 19, 2009.
- Session 2C: February 26, March 5, 12, 19, 2009.
- Session 3C: April 2, 9, 16, 23, 2009.
- Session 4C: April 30, May 7, 14, 28, 2009.
- Session 5C: June 4, 11, 18, 25, 2009.
- Classes will be held on Thursday evening from 6 pm – 8 pm

| Cost: | $5.00 for four classes in session for computer supplies |
| Registration: | Register in the Center for New Directions in Room 372, RFC Building, College of Technology, ISU, or by phoning 282-2454. |
Each session consists of four Thursdays and each class will last two hours. A skills evaluation comprised of hands-on tasks covering topics presented in the class will be conducted at the end of each class. Participants who successfully complete the skills assessment at the end of the class will be awarded a certificate of completion that can be included in a job application. Participants must attend all four classes to be eligible for the certificate of completion.
This class will assist individuals who are currently unemployed or underemployed gain computer skills to increase jobs options.

Applied Word Processing

- Creating a formatted resume or cover letter
- Skills Evaluation
Week Four:
Introduction to the Internet
