The Idaho State University Outreach Center in Montpelier has been a bridge between the community, high school and the post secondary education system for the past three years. The Outreach Center is located at 680 North 4th Street in the Montpelier Plaza. The Center offers a wide variety of educational services to individuals who are 16 years of age or older.
The Center is also home to the Adult Basic Education classes, the Department of Labor Work First classes and the link to ISUs College of Technology Special Program On-line classes in addition to the traditional services linking students to both the academic colleges and the College of Technology. The Center offers COMPASS testing, individualized computer instruction computers and keyboarding classes, career counseling and personal counseling through the Center for New Directions.
