| National Registry Exams |
| Upon completion of degree requirements and the 38 credit professional component, Idaho State University's CLS/MT graduates are eligible to take the national registry exams to become credentialed as MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA). |
| CLS graduates pursuing other careers taking an abbreviated clinical experience are not eligible to take the registry exams. However, they will be afforded the opportunity to take a supervised clinical experience substitute if they decide to take the registry exams in the future. |
