Ray turned the meeting over to Dawn Imel at 4:15.

Scholarship Fund

Scholarship submission must in by 2/15/08. Dawn reviewed what was decided: $400 one time scholarship for the fall semester; needs to have a 2.7 GPA, any status of student, and be a dependent of an ISU CEC employee. Dawn will talk to Jody in the Scholarship Office and find out if there is anything else we need to do. The Office will determine who the scholarship is awarded to. The award should be announced on the website. The winner can be announced. The Spring General Assembly would be a good time to award the scholarship as would be the Recognition event being planned.

Absenteeism

Dawn reviewed the membership list. CEC still has to replace 2 members.

Employee of the Year

The award is for $500 this year. The Committee needs to be formed. Carma will chair the Committee, Carole and Dawn will be on it. Ronda will draft the call for nominations letter.
