Career Fairs & Events

Overview

The Career Center annually sponsors six Career Fairs. Attending these events provides an excellent opportunity for companies that are seeking part-time, seasonal, internship/cooperative education, or full-time applicants. You are invited to attend any fair to seek employment information or to gain information about occupations and the required preparation for entry.

Spring Career Fair - in Idaho Falls

This Career Fair focused on helping students find full-time/part-time summer employment as well as part-time cooperative education and internship opportunities. It is also an excellent opportunity for students to gather information that will aid in planning their career. The fair will be held on February 23, 2010 in the Bennion Student Union in Idaho Falls. List of companies that are registered to attend the Spring 2010 Career Fair in Idaho Falls. Bus rides from Pocatello to Idaho Falls and back are available for fee (leave Pocatello at 11 AM and leave Idaho Falls at 2 PM) by calling 282-2380 and reserving a seat.

Idaho Falls College Majors and Graduate School Fair

February 17, 2010. Come explore different majors and programs within Idaho State University. Representatives will range from two year to graduate programs. 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm in the Bennion Student Union Building 2nd floor.

Education Career Fair

The annual Education Career Fair gives students involved in areas of education the opportunity to interview with employers and to explore the different areas of education careers. The fair will be held April 7, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Stephens Performing Arts Center. List of school districts that attended last year's Fair.

College Majors and Graduate School Fair

September 23, 2009. Come explore different majors and programs within Idaho State University. Representatives will range from two year to graduate programs. 12pm to 4pm in the Student Union Building Ballroom and surrounding 2nd floor rooms.

Fall Career Fair

Search for upcoming vacancies, coordinate an opportunity to meet this year's on-campus recruiters prior to their recruiting date and/or meet with employers offering internship/cooperative education opportunities. This year's fair will be on October 14, 2009 in the Pond Student Union Ballroom. Companies that Registered for Fall 2008 Career fair. The Fair will be held from 9am to 3pm.

Health Professions Career Fair

The Health Professions Career Fair is a great opportunity for students searching for health professions graduate schools and professional schools. Of course, this Fair will still have health professions companies searching for employees. This is event will be held on October 21, 2009 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Student Union Ballroom. Part-Time Student Employment Fair

Date and Time: Tuesday, August 25, 2009 from 10am to 2pm
