Career Fairs & Events
Overview
The Career Center annually sponsors six Career Fairs. Attending these events provides an excellent opportunity for companies that are seeking part-time, seasonal, internship/cooperative education, or full-time applicants. You are invited to attend any fair to seek employment information or to gain information about occupations and the required preparation for entry.
Education Career Fair
The annual Education Career Fair gives students involved in areas of education the opportunity to interview with employers and to explore the different areas of education careers. The fair will be held April 7, 2008, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the top floor of the Student Union Building. The list of school districts is available on Bengal Jobs.
Spring Career Fair
This Career Fair focused on helping students find full-time/part-time summer employment as well as part-time cooperative education and internship opportunities. It is also an excellent opportunity for students to gather information that will aid in planning their career. The fair will be held on February 19, 2008 in the Pond Student Union Ballroom. Part-Time Student Employment Fair
Great opportunity to meet both on-campus and off-campus employers. Some positions are work study while others are regular part-time employment. This event is free to students and employers. It will be held Wednesday August 29, 2007 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. Call the Career Center with any questions at 282-2380.
Health Professions Career Fair
The Health Professions Career Fair is a great opportunity for students searching for health professions graduate schools and professional schools. Of course, this Fair will still have health professions companies searching for employees. This is event will be held on October 10, 2007 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Student Union Ballroom. College Majors and Graduate School Fair
October 31, 2007. Come explore different majors and programs within Idaho State University. Representatives will range from two year to graduate programs. 10am to 1pm in the SUB Ballroom.
Fall Career Fair
Search for upcoming vacancies, coordinate an opportunity to meet this year's on-campus recruiters prior to their recruiting date and/or meet with employers offering internship/cooperative education opportunities. This year's fair will be on November 6, 2007 in the Pond Student Union Ballroom. List of Registered Companies.
