College Spearheads Agreement with BYU-I
Officials at Idaho State University and Brigham Young University-Idaho announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will allow select undergraduate students at BYU-I to gain early admission into graduate programs at ISU. Initial programs include the Master of Arts in Historical Resources Management in the Department of History and the Master of Arts in Political Science. (read more...)
Chicago City Limits Appears at ISU
The Theatre Program was thrilled to welcome a performance by the Chicago City Limits National Touring Company on April 27, 2012. In addition to their evening performance, Chicago City Limits conducted workshops with students during the day. This event was made possible by an arts grant awarded by the F.M., Anne G., and Beverly B. Bistline Foundation. The grant was obtained by Tara Young, Director of Theatre, and Chad Gross, Theatre ISU Technical Director.( read more...)
Professional Achievement Awards

Goslee Receives Distinguished Teacher Award
Susan Goslee, English and Philosophy, has been named ISU Distinguished Teacher for 2012. She was selected from among five finalists, all of whom received Master Teacher awards. (read more...)
Wong Receives Distinguished Researcher Award
Maria Wong, Psychology, has been named ISU Distinguished Researcher for 2012. She was selected from among five finalists, all of whom received Outstanding Researcher awards. (read more...)
Outstanding Faculty Awards
Two other faculty members have received outstanding faculty awards as finalists for the distinguished faculty awards. Alan Johnson, English and Philosophy, received an ISU Outstanding Researcher award and Robert Tokle, Economics, received an Outstanding Public Service award. (read more...)

Two students, KC Harding and Kelsey Petersen, were honored recently as the Outstanding Student in their division of the college. In addition, Misty Strain was honored as the Outstanding Graduate Student for the Masters Level. (read more...)
