Theatre Program Receives National Accreditation

The theatre program in the School of Performing Arts has received national accreditation through the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST). Founded in 1965, NAST is an organization of schools, conservatories, colleges and universities, with approximately 168 accredited institutional members. NAST establishes national standards for undergraduate and graduate degrees and other credentials in theatre. (read more...)

Masters of Public Administration Establishes an Honor Society

The Masters of Public Administration (MPA) program at Idaho State University is proud to announce the establishment of a Pi Alpha Alpha MPA Honors Society. Angela Petit and Sharon Sieber Awarded Grant to Help Native American Graduate Students

Angela Petit and Sharon Sieber are Senior Personnel for an Alliance for Graduate Education with the Professoriate (AGEP) grant funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) disciplines. The purpose of the AGEP planning grant ($140,897) is developing infrastructure for recruiting and retaining Native American doctoral students in the STEM disciplines. This initiative, entitled Strengthening Native American Access to the Professoriate (SNAAP) seeks to “build capacity” for Native American Ph.D.s in the STEM fields. (read more...)
