Dean's Advisory Board Committees

While each committee was tasked with coming up with its own specific charter, here is a basic breakdown of what was discussed at the Fall '10 meeting:

Marketing and Media

Rick Schroder (Chair), Graham Garner, Terri Brooks, Wade Tolman, Dick Maestas, Danny Marona, Randy Earles

This committee has been tasked with researching different social media methods, recommending which ones are best suited to meet the needs of the College and then helping to establish and maintain whatever is decided upon. Options discussed include Facebook, Twitter, CAL webpage, and an online newsletter, but it would be nice to learn about other options out there as well.

Community Relations

Roger Howard (chair), Kelly Purce Braseth, Sharon Price, Rayna Valentine, Bobette Wilhelm, Ron Hatzenbuehler

This committee was tasked with working on: community outreach, creating a strong CAL presence in the community, cultivating relationships with members of and businesses in the community, and creating a welcoming community for attracting and retaining students.
