Womyn’s Health (formally Baby U Club) requesting baby, child and maternity clothing for upcoming fundraiser

The Womyn’s Health (formally Baby U) Club is dedicated to taking a critical look at women’s health and illness as well as helping student parents balance the demands between raising a family and going to school. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate whether they have children or not.

Staring November 2009 we will have tri-monthly brown bag luncheon presentations and discussions covering topics ranging from legal assistance for young parents, women and chronic pain to sustainable living.

Currently we are asking for donations of baby, child and maternity clothes for a fundraiser to be held this January at the second annual Parent Resource Fair. If you have articles of clothing to donate they can be taken to Gravely Hall room 117. We can also arrange for donation pick-ups.
We invite the public to join us as we work to spread information about services available to women and parents at ISU and through the community.
