An upper division elective course designed to assist students entering the helping professions to take care of themselves.

Course material will include topics such as stress management, taking care of the personal self, setting boundaries and following priorities, preventing burnout, and continued professional development.

The course will emphasize implementing and sustaining personal behavioral change, and requires participation in class discussion and activities.
