How are families represented in movies and television shows?
How are our attitudes and beliefs about families influenced by media?
In this course, we will analyze the complex relationship between mass media – here TV
and movies – and families from a sociological perspective. Students will also practice the analysis of media content. We will use vampire series in TV and movies as illustration and research objects.
