The Idaho State University Marketing Materials Approval Committee, established to help assure that high-quality promotional items are distributed to the public, meets in the Office of University Relations each Wednesday at 4 p.m.
The broadly based committee is responsible for reviewing all ISU-produced print, broadcast and digital materials that are intended for public distribution to promote and market ISU events, programs and organizations. Examples are brochures, flyers, posters, print and broadcast advertisements and Web content. Materials produced by student groups must be submitted if they include the ISU logo or wordmark to assure proper usage.
The committee reviews materials for suitable design, conformance with ISU identity standards, logo usage, messaging and other content. University Relations staff members are always available for consultation at any time prior to design, production and submission to the committee. Representatives of campus entities that submit materials are encouraged to attend and participate in the review if their items.
Please deliver six copies of each item to University Relations, Room 142 on the bottom floor of the Administration Building. Or e-mail the item to hueganth@isu.edu, with contact information. Individuals who submit materials for review should complete a brief contact-information form for each item.
Items must be submitted by noon the day of each meeting, well in advance of the anticipated printing or publication date to allow for possible revision and further review.
Following the review, the committee will contact the person or department to discuss recommendations the committee may have.
