The ISU ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)in the Center for Teaching and Learning welcomes your referrals of non native speakers of English attending summer classes, working on research projects, or seeking Teaching Assistantships who could benefit from additional English language and American cultural awareness support.
We provide resources and one on one tutoring (in 60 minute appointments) designed to help undergraduates and graduates, full or part time, permanent residents, citizens or Internationals to meet their academic and professional goals.
The ESOL Program is located in the Center for Teaching and Learning, top floor of the Museum Building. Please call 282-3662 for appointments and contact director Lynn Leonard at leonlynn@isu.edu for more information. We work in tandem with the Writing Center, but we are a separate program specializing in ESOL specific feedback, materials and instruction.
Limited tutoring hours are also available in Idaho Falls at the CeTL facility. Call Carol Robinson, ESOL specialist, for information and appointments at 282-7925.
