Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)
The TEAS tests will take place in April, May, June and July of 2009 at ISU-Boise. There are only 20 seats available for each test. Therefore, we recommend you reserve your seat as soon as possible. You must reserve your place for the test by calling (208) 373-1785. Reservation deadlines are listed below:
April 22, check-in at 12:30, test begins at 1 pm DEADLINE: April 15
May 22, check-in at 8:30, test begins at 9 am DEADLINE: May 15
June 4, check-in at 8:30, test begins at 9 am DEADLINE: May 28
June 24, check-in at 12:30, test begins at 1 pm DEADLINE: June 17
July 13, check-in at 12:30, test begins at 1 pm DEADLINE: July 6
This 4-part assessment consists of subtests for Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English with a total testing time of three hours and thirty minutes. Study guides are not required, but are available for purchase
from www.atitesting.com. The TEAS may be taken twice.
The TEAS test will be administered by ISU-Boise located at 12301 W Explorer Drive, Suite 102, Boise, ID 83713. (Actual test location is the Bridger Computer Lab.) Payment of $45 is required to take the test. You may pay with a check or exact change. We are unable to make change or to take credit card payments. Checks should be made payable to ISU in the amount of $45. You also need to bring a photo ID to register for the exam. Please arrive 30 minutes before the TEAS begins to allow adequate time for the check-in and payment process.

Please also note: a background investigation is required as part of the ISU-Boise Fast Track Nursing Program application process. This requires an additional $45 fee. If you would like to begin the background investigation when you come to campus for the TEAS, please bring the fee payment, and your driver’s license or other state issued ID.
